A Morning of Lunch Making

A MORNING OF LUNCH MAKING

Way back when, before the pandemic, we made lunches together, in my backyard. We’d each bring an item or two – loaves of bread, a couple pounds of turkey, etc. – then we'd divide and conquer.  Sandwich makers at the picnic tables.  Bag designers inside.  Lunch assemblers along the drive way.  There were always lots of kids. In less than 2 hours, we'd have hundreds of lunches.  It was really fun, and community building and... well – we're bringing it back. Yes, on SUNDAY MORNING, Dec 8, at 10am we are gathering to make lunches together again.

Each person needs to bring something. Below is a link to a list of everything we need. Sign up, have your friends sign up. Then… come! And if you can’t make it on Dec 8, no worries. We'll do it again. I am thinking once a month. And, of course, you can always make lunches at home. We do the drive every Sunday, rain or shine, holiday or not. Make them at home, then drop them off at the nearest hub (location addresses below!). Take that Matt Gaetz!
