Youth Justice Teach-In

Youth Justice Teach-In with Patricia Suong, Eduardo Mundo and Angeles Zaragoza

Youth Justice in LA County is a mess. The HODG Youth Justice Group has been digging deep into this issue for well over a year now. And still we are not sure what is going on, and how did it get this bad? But we are not giving up.

And we’d love anyone who’s interested in this unsexiest of topics, to join us.

On Saturday, Sept 28 we are holding a Youth Justice Teach-In with experts in this field. This would be a great starting off point for those of you who have been wanting to get involved, but haven’t yet.

Leading and updating us on what's going on out there will be:

-- Saul Sarabia (of UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, and former chair of LA County Probation Reform Implementaion Team (PRIT))

-- Eduardo Mundo (of the Probation Oversight Commission)

-- Angeles Zaragoza  (public defender, and co-founder of Opportunity House)
