Safe Parking LA Drive

Our latest HODG Drive is for the benefit of Safe Parking LA, a boots-on-the-ground organization that employs underused parking lots to support Angelenos whose only shelter is their vehicle. They provide a safe overnight parking spot with security and sanitation as well as case management services and other support. Right now they’re finding these items are in short supply:

• Travel-size shampoo

• Conditioner

• Body wash

• Lotion

• Hygiene wipes

• Toothbrushes

• Toothpaste

• Deodorant

• Sunscreen

• Bottled water

• Vehicle sunshades

• Light blankets/Throws/Fleece

There are two super-easy ways to donate any or all of these items:

1. When you drop off your lunches on Jennifer’s lawn at 153 S Norton Ave, LA 90004 on Sunday October 1st, Sunday October 8th, or Sunday October 15th, just drop off your donation too and we’ll be there to collect it.

2. The second (even easier) way would be to order some of these supplies from Amazon and have them delivered to Rhonda Hayter at 1238 Meadowbrook Ave. LA, CA 90019.
