Postcarding and Meet & Greet

GEORGE WHITESIDES is coming to meet HODG!  Who’s that, you ask?

Whitesides is the Democrat running to replace Rep Mike Garcia in CA-27 (Lancaster, Antelope Valley etc.)  Moira and Sonya met Whitesides a few weeks back and they were “very impressed.”  So much so that they invited him to meet with us – and he said YES!  

An aerospace engineer, Whitesides is the former NASA Chief of Staff. Which means 2 things to me – he believes in science AND he’s not afraid of solving problems.  I read HIS BIO, and one thing that stood out is that Whitesides founded something called MEGAFIRE ALERT, which is the first organization dedicated to solving mega fires. He also co-chaired the Covid-19 response team in Antelope Valley. Bottom line: Garcia doesn’t hold a candle to this guy!

So please, come to Moira’s this Saturday, and meet the candidate that we will be knocking on doors for in 2024:  George Whitesides.  We will also be writing postcards– with Field Team 6 –  to ensure that Dems in CA-27 are registered to vote.
