HOLLYWOOD HOMELESS COUNT 2024

Ever wonder how our local government decides how to allocate money and resources to help unhoused Angelenos?  The answer is that they use the data they get from the HOMELESS COUNT.  

This year’s LA COUNT is Jan 23, 24, + 25. The Hollywood portion – which is the part I am doing – is going to be ON FOOT. Yep, we’re gonna walk every block in Hollywood and record how many tents, RV’s and homeless folks we see.  And by “we,” I mean a whole bunch of volunteers.

If you are free on June 25 -- and able-bodied! -- you should totally sign up. Not only is it important. It’s easy. It's fun.  And don’t worry – you don’t go out alone.  It’s you and a group of friends, and a clipboard  I signed up for the Hollywood Site: First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood at 1760 Gower.  Register and we can go together!
