We are collecting adult and kids size coats + jackets to donate to Project Ropa and Alliance School. For those who don't know, Project Ropa is an amazing org that brings clothes TO homeless folks. They literally drive up to encampments, shelters and transitional homes with their souped-up van, open the doors, and let folks "shop" for clothes. What is so great about Project Ropa is that they know that just because someone doesn't have a permanent home, doesn't mean they don't care about what they're wearing.
Please make sure all coats/jackets are gently worn or new. No holes, stains, etc. If it's too old, dirty, gross, ugly for you to wear, it's too ugly for folks in need to wear too.
