Election Night Hike

ELECTION NIGHT HIKE

Ok, so some of us have decided that we have no interest in spending Election night in front of the TV.  It's too much for our gentle constitutions.  Instead we heading out into nature, where we can remind ourselves that this is just one moment in time.  That the world -- the mountains, the trees, the coyotes -- don't care who wins the election (although they totally should, and if trees could vote, every single one of them would vote Dems up and down).  Anyway...

... those of you who feel similarly, come join us!

We will be walking up to the observatory.  It is uphill, but we can take it slow -- or I will be taking it slow.  Helen is a billy goat!.  It should last about 1.5 - 2 hours.

Make sure you bring a flashlight or headlamp.  It will be dark.

Also, we are asking that you not bring, or turn off, your phones.  If that is impossible for you, then this might not be the right action for you.  Or maybe it's the perfect one!!
