CALIFORNIA CLIMATE LOBBY DAY

Wednesday, March 20th is CLIMATE LOBBY DAY in Sacramento. Polly is going with Environment CA and she is looking for other HODGers to join.

As you can guess, Lobby Day is a day of advocacy at state legislative offices.  It’s a chance to meet with lawmakers and their staff to deliver clear and compelling messages about the bills that we want to see CA pass this year in order to ensure a climate-safe future.  

The day starts at 9AM with a brief “Lobbying 101” training at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento.  Everyone will then walk over to the state capitol to being meeting.  Lunch will be provided at noon.
