PAJAMA BAGS FOR ALEXANDRIA HOUSE RESIDENTS

This is one of our favorite HODG holiday actions.  Sign up to put together a pajama bag (or 2) and Helen will pair you with a mother or child (with age/gender)/favorite colors) who currently live, or who have lived in the past, at Alexandria House.   

For those who don't know, Alexandria House is a transitional home for houseless mothers and kids. Helen will give you specifics, but each pajama bag includes pajamas, sheets, towels, slippers and anything else you want to put in there – beauty products? Stuffed animals? Helen collects all the bags. Then, in December she -- and her helpers -- bring all of them over to Alexandria House. It’s our chance to be Santa! Which feels so good. Last year we made 50 bags!
