SUPER BOWL MORNING with Assemblywoman LAURA FRIEDMAN & Co

Some of the best people ever – Helen, Louis Abramson, Tony G. – are hosting a low ticket – and even FREE – event for Assemblywoman Laura Friedman, who is running to fill Adam Schiff’s seat.  

I bring this to you not just because I’d follow Helen, Louis and Tony anywhere, but also because I agree with them: Laura is the best person for the job. The LA Times Editorial board agrees too (see their endorsement below).  

Mostly I love Laura because she sponsors smart, sensible bills that protect the environment, protect our safety, and support better housing.  And she knows how to get those bills passed.  She is responsible for passing legislation that gets rid of parking minimums, phases out single-use plastics, bans the use of potable water on decorative lawns and protects reproductive freedom through a state constitutional amendment.

And yeah, it’s Superbowl Sunday BUT the game doesn’t start until later in the afternoon.  And football is stupid, even with Tay-Tay in the family box.
