HODG Presents: Meet our Friends at The Center

There are loads of orgs who do amazing work with the homeless.  The Center in Hollywood is different.  

Instead of primarily focusing on getting homeless people inside, The Center thinks it is equally important to end the isolation of homelessness. To build community. We all hear stories about people who are put into housing, only to leave it a few days later and head back onto the streets because that’s where their community is.  The Center understands how important that is.  

I could go on and on about The Center.  I won’t.  Instead I urge you – in fact, I double urge you – to join Helen and Moira for this lovely backyard fundraiser for this amazing organization. Let's SHOW UP for the people who SHOW UP for the unhoused!
