HODG Blood Drive

HODG’s Big-hearted, bad-ass BLOOD DRIVE

Please post & share online (social media/text/email/etc.) – we need blood donors!

Say goodbye to finger-sticks: we’ve implemented a brand–new protocol with our innovative non–invasive FDA approved finger–sensor device, which means no more annoying finger–prick. Makes it easier for wonderful precious blood donors. First–timers welcome too and find out your own individual blood type; everything is completely FREE!

✓  Say goodbye to finger–sticks!  This year marks the inaugural implementation of a brand-new FDA approved finger sensor device which non-invasively provides iron readings much more simply.

The following helpful link is from our Nutrition Dept of Registered Dieticians – good for anyone who’s ever had decreased iron, which can fluctuate monthly/throughout the year and yes they most definitely can try again (most people don’t have actual diagnosed anemia).  And I’ve met vegetarians/full-vegans who don’t eat even any meat yet still have sufficient iron to give blood just fine:

Feel free to reach out if questions about eligibility criteria. And once again, thank you very much for supporting this important cause.
