A MEET + GREET FOR DR. DIDI WATTS

Dr. Didi Watts is running for School Board in District 1.  Here’s why – even with all the other insane stuff going on in the world – you should give a damn about our school board: the kids.  Yes, I’m going to say it – they are our future.  If we want the world to be the equitable, thriving, thoughtful place that we say we do, our first job should be to make sure all kids get the education and opportunity they need.

There are currently 13 candidates. Didi is the only one who's a life long educator. Her husband, Peter,  and their adult children are educators too.  Didi and Peter, are co-founders of Power of Watts Foundation – the amazing org dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting Black male primary school teachers.  Educating our next generation is Didi’s life mission. Come meet her and hear how she plans to do it.
